Welcome!

Mostly Motets operates two small vocal ensembles that sing in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sonoma County.  They sing sacred music by 15th and 16th century composers such as:  Byrd, Tallis, Palestrina, Victoria, Dufay, Desprez, and Frye as well as some Gregorian chant and other works from the Middle Ages.

Berkeley June 8th Early Sacred Music Performance and Sing-Along

Our Bay Area Ensemble's first public event will be a combined performance and sing-along of works by Guillaume Dufay, Josquin Desprez, Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, and other Renaissance masters.  Offered during the week of the 2008 Berkeley early music festival, the event will take place at 1:30 p.m. on June 8, 2008 at First Congregational Church of Berkeley.  For more information or to buy tickets, please see the Events section of this web site.
